Joliet Catholic Academy Recognizes 19 Students from the Class of 2026 as Illinois State Scholars

Joliet Catholic Academy President/Principal Dr. Jeffrey Budz is proud to announce that 19 members of the Class of 2026 have been named Illinois State Scholars by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission. The State Scholar Program recognizes students across all class levels for outstanding academic achievement.

“We are very proud of our students who earned Illinois State Scholar status,” said Dr. Budz. “These individuals put in much time and effort to achieve academic success with many of them going above and beyond in and out of the classroom.  We know that this will not be the last time they achieve such an extraordinary accomplishment, for they all have many great successes ahead of them.”

The following JCA students were named Illinois State Scholars: Lindsey Alcantar, Megan Ardaugh, Georgia Buza, Christopher Corsi, Charles Czerkies, Lenny Duncan-Djondo, Alondra Espino, Andrew Farris, Kera Fitzgerald, Adriel Garcia, Ella Heinen, Alison Jakovich, Allison Lesters, Juliana McClowry, Joshua Ratajczyk, Stephen Roehrig III, Kate Lynne Selinger, Abigail Shinners, and Owen Wherry.
