Joliet Catholic Academy Announces Annual Alumni Banquet: “Hot Stove at the Hill”

Joliet Catholic Academy is proud to host its annual Alumni Banquet, Hot Stove at the Hill, on Thursday, January 29, 2026, celebrating the school’s rich baseball legacy and remarkable tradition of excellence.

This year’s banquet will feature a special “Hot Stove” panel highlighting Joliet Catholic Academy’s nine Major League Baseball alumni, who will share stories and insights about two of America’s favorite pastimes: baseball and the Hilltoppers.

Featured MLB alumni include:

Jack Perconte ’72, Bill Gullickson ’77, Mark Grant ’81, Sean Bergman ’88, Mike Grace ’88, Chris Michalak ’89, Kevin Cameron ’98, Joe Benson ’06, and Rylan Bannon ’14.

In addition to these distinguished alumni, JCA proudly notes that the program has produced over 44 professional baseball players, more than any other high school in Illinois. The Hilltoppers have also captured five IHSA State Baseball Championships: 1994, 2009, 2013, 2022, and 2023.

$60 per person (includes dinner and program)
$600 for a table of ten
A cash bar will be available. The evening will also include a split-the-pot drawing and raffle prizes.
