Handbells

Joliet Catholic Academy is the only area high school - public or private - to offer Handbells classes.

JCA offers a comprehensive Handbells program that engages many students in the art of ensemble ringing. In addition to learning proper bell techniques, students develop a strong foundation in music theory and performance fundamentals.

Through a diverse selection of music, students gain valuable experience working together as a group and showcasing their talents. The semester concludes with a major concert performance, giving participants the opportunity to share what they’ve learned with the JCA community.
